DELE Preparation Examinations

 

DELE (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera) are official Diplomas in Spanish Languages that certify the level of Spanish of the student. They are held by the Instituto Cervantes, in the name of the Spanish Ministry of Education.

EIDE, accredited by the Instituto Cervantes prepares the students for the examinations.

During our B and C level intensive courses, students also receive 4 to 6 lessons per week training for the DELE examinations. This training is designed to give students an idea of the kind of structure, exercises and questions they will come up against in the DELE exams. In order for the student to become familiar with these exams, most of the exercises and activities will be based on real exam papers.

In case the students wants reinforcement in the DELE preparation, they can choose different options:


  • Choose an Intensive Course +5, 10 or 20, which combines intensive course and DELE preparation. This means they will have extra private lessons to prepare for the DELE  Examination.
  • Take private lessons just focused on preparing for the DELE examination.

The DELE are official qualifications with permanent validity. Examinations at EIDE are held on different dates every year. In  2014, examinations will be held on April, May, July, October and November.

The DELE Diplomas are internationally recognised, and enjoy great prestige not only among public and private educational institutions and authorities, but also in the business world and chambers of commerce.

Both in Spain and other countries,  the DELE have been adopted by departments of education and official institutions of learning to complement their own  assessment programmes. In fact, in Spain, many Universities requiere the DELE to register in a degree.
