Students from San Petersburgo  in EIDE

A group of Spanish students from San Petersburgo have spent two unforgettable weeks learning Spanish in EIDE and enjoying Bilbao and its people; enjoying the green landscape, the beach and the sea; enjoying the sports and adventure activities in the area.

This year a group of Russian students have chosen our school to take Spanish courses and enjoy 2 week-long holidays. The program includes morning lessons, food in the School's restaurant, activities, sports, other cultural-touristic visits on the evenings and accomodation with local families.

Today's lessons have been very useful, the students have very high level and are keen on learning. We have adapted the classes to their needs so that they can make the most of their time. We shouldn't forget that, even though they wanted to have a great time, the main reason for the the visit is to learn Spanish and that is our main focus.

The meals have been provided by the School Restaurant Service in EIDE,traditional Basque and Spanish recipes with an innovative touch, and we believe that EIDE has lived up to the ocasion. At the end of the meal, the dishes were clean!

During the evenings...time for having fun! Bilbao, Guggenheim museum, the beaches, adventure activities, horse riding...

Finally, we should mention the families, welcoming, kind, lovely. At the beginning, it was a bit difficult to find them, here people are not used to share their home and time with foreign students. But some dared and have been a real family for the students, they took them in and set up a whole range of activities and excursions for them. By the same token, it has been a enriching experienced for the families.

Overall, two weeks whe everybody got the chance to enjoy, the young ones, the families and also us.Here you can find some images:
